Bleu de Bretagne 20 Kg

226.00 inc.

Short description

Bleu de Bretagne

In a suitable substrate, the Bleu de Bretagne will be more easily assimilated by the root system of the hydrangeas. It will help achieve or maintain the blue, mauve, or garnet color. If the parent rock of your soil is not of the slate type, the establishment of a substrate and the addition of aluminum sulfate will need to be done to achieve bluish colors.
Initially, it will be important to add the “Bleu de Bretagne” to your pre-planting mix (200 grams). Then, the application should be done through watering once a year in May (100 grams for 10 liters of water). You can achieve even more easily blue hydrangeas if you grow them in pots.

It depends on the space you have available. For a balcony or small terrace, opt for a compact variety (40 to 80 cm). In the ground, classic hydrangeas can reach 1.5 to 2 meters in height.

You can keep them in pots for a few weeks after purchase, provided you water them well. For good long-term development, it is recommended to replant them in the ground or in a larger pot within the following month.
