Use and interest: This variety has the distinctive feature of possessing fairly dark, veined foliage that may recall that of nettles. Its inflorescences are of good size and numerous when the plant is mature. You can cultivate this hydrangea in a pot, in a border and as a hedge along a wall for example. In autumn, its foliage becomes dark brown and its inflorescences become slightly pink.
